Notices have gone to reservists stating that the next draft will he mobilised about a month earlier than originally intended. Sir James Allen explained liiet evening that other drafts will also be auvanced so that all reinforcements wil, move forward a month. The question of increasing the monthly quota lV still dependent on tho wishes of the Army Council. If the present percent-i-ge stands, th»; Minister does not anticipate any further alteration** in the calling up of reinforcements, but no definite statement can yet he made.
