A wedding of much interest to Mangaweka took place a day or two ago, when Mrs. Frank Stewart, of Stewart's Central Book Arcade, was married to Mr. Maher, manager of Meyer and Gonnell's motor garage-
The Rev. R. E. Fordyce, who nas been in charge 'of the Taiha'pe Mehodist Church for the last twelve months, has "moved on" to the neighbouring circuit of Taumarunui. Before leaving, the congregation presented him with a valuable rug.
Miss T. Ingpen, of Wanganui, and Mr. D. Thompson, Mangaweka agent for Messrs 'Abraham and Williams, have been united in the bonds of matrimony.
