WELINGTON'S SYMPATHY.
r^_ (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Mar. 19. A meeting of business men, addressed by Sir Joseph Ward regarding the .war loan, passed a resolution "That ihe citizens of Wellington, in public meeting assembled, desire to convey to the Vinhabitants of Ilaetihi their hea.^w't tympath/, and assure them that if financial assistance is required it will bo given." Sir Joseuh Ward said later that he approved the-resolution, and believed ■^the Government would do its duty dv j^iira- people if they should need finanr rial assistance.
