INDESCRIBABLE EXCITEMENT,

NEW YORK, October 28. There is indescribable enthusiasm over the Liberty War Loan. The banks "utilised; all their employees as bond sellers. Others sold bonds in the rain-swept streets to waiting and cheering crowds. Throughout the night thousands of telegraphed subscriptions were received. '*

New York district's total is more t&an half a billion, of which twenty banks took more than fifteen millions each.

Tne Guarantee Trust subscribed 105,000,000. Thirteen million buttons were distribiited to bond buyers. ■ Mr McAdoo, Secretary to the Treasury, says the loan is an overwhelming success.
