WAR WORK.
The Women's National Reserve will entertain the soldiers' mothers and wives tWis afternoon in St. Paul's Hall. Owing to unforeseen circumstances the gathering at Mrs Mackay's grounds has been postponed until next, month. All mothers and wives are accordingly invited to be present to-day, when they will be provided with an enjoyable afternoon tea and a good musical programme. Members of the Reserve are asked to kindly contribute towards the afternoon tea. Mothers of soldiers requiring badges (Is 6d) at the meeting, are asked to send the number, unit,- ' and reinforcement of their son as soon as possible to Miss Chapman, 103, Bell St.
