THE MEN TO RESUME

ON PRE-STRIKE TERMS

WELLINGTON, Oct. 26. At a meeting of members of the Wellington branch of the Seamen's Union concerned in the strike affecting the small vessels, it was decided that the men should resume work to-mor* row on the terms existing prior to the dispute. It is understood that the Prime Minister undertook to arrange a conference with the shipowners, and on that assurance the men decided to return to work.
