CHAPLAIN ELAMIRES. - The chairman reported that, in response to his request, Captain-Chaplain Blamires had kindly^ consented to deliver a lecture covering his experiences at the JmJ n ™ of the Pat"otic funds. MRS DE CASTRO.—Mrs Maekay reported that she had received a letter from Mr s De Castro, who had had considerable experience of Red Cross and similar work in Egypt, including the Aotea Homa, in Esypt expressing her willingness to lecture m Wangaiuu. It was resolved that the matter be referred to the Amusements Committee.
PALMEIISTON'S HOSPITALITY — Captain S. M. Dixon, Group Commander wrote expressing appreciation of -the hospitality extended by the Anzac Club, Palmerston North, to drafts when passing through Wanganui. Captim Dijon's sentiments were heartily endorsed by Major H. S. G Harper who stated that the entertainment provided by the An>sac Clwb was highly appreciated by officers and men. It was unanimously resolved to authorise the secretary to write, expressing the Association's thanks for the generous hospitality extended to the men from this district.
