CHAPLAIN-CAPTAIN BLAMIRES
AN ENTHUSIASTIC GATHERING,
There was a very enthusiastic gathering at the Trinty Church schoolrooita last night, when the building was weil tilled to welcome home Chaplain-Capt. Blamires on his return from the front. Mr W. Gi Bassett, who presided, extended a very cordial welcome to Mr. Blamires on behalf of the congregation, and the other speakers, who spoke in a similar welcoming strain, were the Rev. Mr Kellow, Mr J. Jones, and Mr. O; E. Taylor, the last-mentioned speaking particularly in, the name of the young people. All the speakers paid a warm tribute to the work of Mrs. Blamires during Mr. Blamii/es' absence.
