"OUR DAY" APPEAL
The "Our Day" appeal fixed for the 1/th mst. promises to be a great Success. A great many local societies are combining to raise £3000, if possible, as Wanganui's assistance to our sick and wowided soldiers. Street colectors will be busy, and a house-to-house canvass will be made. The public are asked to show thei rsympathy with the cause and the hard-working collectors Mr C. E. Mackay (hon. treasurer of the "Our Day" appeal) acknowledges the sum of £13 125., the result of a euchre party and dance given at the Kiosk, Castlecliff.
