THE SOUTHERN FLOODS.
DUNEDIN, September.27. Reassuring reports are coining from the flooded areas of the Taieri plain. Outram is s cut off by road and rail, but all the stock has been removed safely. The damage is reported as slight. It has stopped raining in the back country, and the flood waters are receding.
