HIS MAJESTY'S.

"THE LITTLE BROTHER."

His Majesty's Theatre was well filled last evening, when a new-programme was screened. The headliner is entitled "The Little Brother," and features the pretty Australian actress Enid Bennett. In this fine play she has an almost alarming variety of roles. She is first a slum girl, who is the temporary mother of all the brats in the neighbourhood. Deserted by her brothers, she dons newsboy's trousers and fights for n corner position. She attracts the notice of a rich young bachelor, who. sends her to college. From this she blossoms into a sweet <jirl graduate covered with honours, and speedily becomes a. remarkably : pretty young woman. The rest of the story !is a strong drama in whicli the young actress displays great power. ' The photography is particularly good, the closing Scene?, being along way above the avevoge. As a "boy" in "The Little Brother," Enid Bennett has a particularly awkward moment when she goes to fche mixed college and is shown into a room which she is to share with a genuine clumsy, fat youth. The prooJem is salved, however, by the principal of the school, who, after hearing Enid's confession, transfers her to the girls' side. The second last chapter of "Gloria's Romance," "The Vow Fulfilled," featuring the renowned Billie Burke, is also a particularly good film. The same programme will be repeated this evening.
