Fine views are shown of the Canadian Scottish in camp and leaving for England. The Travel picture shows "Monte Video," its life and wonderful city. The supporting pictures include comedy and drama.

OPERA HOUSE

LAST NIGHT OF KINEMACOLOR

Of great interest to the large audiences attending tne Opera House are the beautiful Kincmaeolor pictures of 'SJohn Bull's Empire," shown by Mr W. Shephard. Where there is so much that is good, it is hard to particularise. The pictures are undoubtedly among the finest ever shown in Wanganui. The Royal and spectacular events in England and Ireland arouse the greatest enthusiasm. The natural colours are truly a revelation, and the picture of the future is undoubtedly the Kinemaeolor. Those who have not alroadv witnessed this fine entertainment should not miss the opportunity this evening. It is seldom such an opportunity is offered. There is a special matinee this afternoon at 2.30 for children, and all pupils should make a point of attending. The plan is at H. I. Jones and Son's.

In our amusement columns will be found the programme to be given )jy the Queen Alexandra Band to-morroiv evaimig, when another gpod house should greet the members. Tho vocal items . are in the capable hands of Miss JRona Kino and Madaoi Edmondson, which in themselves should be well worth hearing. Mr and Mrs T. Sperring will render a vocal duet, and they always give a very pleasant rendition. Miss Curran and Messrs Buckley and Shepley promise something interesting in an instrumental trio. The Baiid will render tho brilliant overture, "Light Cavalry" and "Gems of Sch.ibert," the latter being a fine selection full of pleasing melodies. The recital .s in aid of the Jfted Cross. Mrs GiffordMoore, with a bevy of ladies, will have charge of the collection, which will be taken at the doors.
