THE GREEK SITUATION.
'ATHENS, August 9. There was a stormy sitting of the Chamber. An Opposition member who denounced the Press restrictions "was shouted down. Vemzelos pleaded for freedom of Opposition criticism, but emphasised that the Government was determined to crush any attempt at reaction.
The Government has resolved on martial law.
