BRITISH MISSION TO RUSSIA.
LONDON, June 1. It is understood that the Government's motive in facilitating the journey to Russia of representatives of different political opinions in Britain is to comply with the Russian Government and people's desire to learn the views of all sections of British thought. It is true that' certain small factions which are not enthusiastic towards the v.ar are represented, but the Government, being convinced that Britain entered tne war on behalf of the small nations, democracies, freedom, and justice, courts the fullest investigation, and gladly allows all, sections to expound their views. Messr Roberts, Macdonald, and Jowatt will. inform Russia how we were driven into the war and elucidate Germany's present endeavour to distort her own objects in forcing the war.
