LONDON, June 2.

Wireless German official.—There is increased artillerying at Wytschaete bend, Lens and on the north bank of the Scarpe. We took prisoners, who included Portuguese.

We captured a French position on a thousand metres front near Alternant, north-east of Soissons and repulsed repeated counter-attacks.

We pxisdhered on the Western front during May 237 officers and 13,500 men. We also captured three guns, 211 machine-guns, 43i q'uick-loade/rs and eighteen minethrowers. I . The Bulgarians captured an outpost position near Alcockmar, on the western bank of the Vardar.
