EVERYBODY'S.
There was another very large attendance last night, v/hen the excellent Metro prograniin<i.a,gain achieved an undoubted triumph. The star feature, "Man and his Soul" is a powerful and cleverly conceived story of business life, with a sweet and simple romance. The picture opens with a short allegory, depicting the birth of conscience, and its (relation to modern business methods. Francis X. Bushman and Beverley Bayrie have never been seen to better advantage. These , popular artists never fail to attract large audiences, and patrons should be .early to-night, as it is safe to predict a. packed house, at the final screening. Another record programme has been secured for tomorrow, headed by a powerful drama, "A Woman's Power," and is based on two of the1 oldest themes of story writers—the, mystic s/;x influence and the long-standing feudal hatred. The two sets of emotions war against each other throughout the drama, and make a natural and probable plot full of interest. A new star, Douglas Mac Lean,. makes his appearance as Newt Spooner, and will be a satisfactory surprise to all World Film enthusiasts.
