TWO GREAT STARS AT EVERYBODY'S.
The consistency and merit of Metro wonder-plays was well sustained last night in the great and allegorical drama, "Man and His Soul." Mr. Francis X. Bushman and his beautiful co-star, Beverley Bayne, rise to great .heights in this production, and never have they been seen to such advantage. Another star drama is a liv.ely detective story with, an amazingly original master criminal —"Through the Wall." George Holt, the Vitagraph dramatic player of strong parts, is suited to perfection in the role of Heidelmann, the spectacular plotter who is the central figure in the play. The submarine scene is realistic, and the secret chamber, with its mysterious revolving panels, is most convincing. A picture of more than ordinary interest is "With the Franco-British" afc Bapaume and the forward movement to Peronne. "Free Speech" is quite the funniest comedy the Drew Duo have given us, and completes a perfect programme that should attract further packed houses'.
