She was badly burned. After she had extinguished the names by rolling Herself m a blanket she sent some distance to a neighbour .'for assistance.- The sufferer was conveyed to the hospital, tvliere she died shortly afterwards Deceased was a daughter of a well known resident of Kaikoura.
