Our organisa tion and" staff enable us to deal witl th,e very worst .types of cases, and t'lli being well known to the authorities w-e get the very worst of both medioa and surgical oases. lam not allowet to give you figures as to the numbei of cases that have passed through oui hands, but I can roughly say W m have dealt with a good;many thousands lerhaps it wouldi interest you to know how the hospital is staffed. There i one_ Officer Commanding, 'with sixteen medical officers, one ctental surgeon one quartermaster and one secretary! At present we. have 56 trained nurses and 25 St. John y'.A.D.* nurses; also a provisional company R.A M C strength 142, and all St. J6hn Ambulance Brigade men enlisted in the Royal Army Medical Corps for the duration of the war. Of course you know that the hospital contains 520 beds, 20 foi officers and the remainder for other raiks.
