PIG BREEDERS' ASSOCIATION.
(From our Travelling Reporter ) FEILDING, Feb.' 7. A meeting of the council of the N.Z. Pig Breeders' Association was held at tteildmg this afternoon, and the proceedings were of an enthusiastic nature. Breeders are now confident that the value of growing pedigree stock .will be recognised more and more by farmers who are desirous of improving the value of their by-products. Considerable discussion ensued over the printing of the Herd-book, but eventu^ ally it was decided to proceed with the same, and an Editing Committee v/as appointed witli that object in view. 'Mr Green was appointed to fill the vacancy on the council caXised by the resignation of Mr G-ribble.
