AUCKLAND, February 5. Mr Justice Hosking, referring to the Hon. Dr. McNab's death at the opening of the Supreme Court/ said Dr. McNab was a man whose cense of duty, and love of country was the mainspring of all'his "actions. By bis-.death the Dominion had sustained a gieat loes. The Grand Jury.later carried a motion endorsing Mr Justice Hosking's tribute to Dr. McNab, and expressing the sense of the loss. the Dominion has suffered through the death of a statesman of great professional attainments, a man who was not only possessed of.great natural ability, but one whos©. high .sens 3of duty to his fellows and his country has left a life's work as an example of sen ices well done for those following him.
