A Russian communique says: The enemy repeatedly failed to re-capture the heights overlooking the Usa Valley on the Moldavian frontier-. The Roumanians were pushed back in places in the region of the Kasing River and the Vranchea Mountains. All e*nemy attacks on the left of the Danube were repelled, except one height which, was lost on our left. We have abandoned Isaktcha and Turlcea in the Dobrudja.
