CHEESE AND BUTTER.
SHORTAGE OF REFRIGERATOR SPACE.
STATEMENT BY THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE. /
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, D,ec. 20; The Hon. MacDona,?d, Minister of Agriculture, stated to-day that the shortage of ! refrigerated tonnage for butter and cheese is approaching an acute stage. Storage is limited and a great quantity of butter and cheese is urgently required for cheese which butter. Tile Minister expected more tonnage would be available within a lew months for butter, and he hoped also to learn soon of the improved outlook for -getting; the cheese away ' BUNEDIN, Decembe? 20. Mr Lamb, secretary of the South Is>a,nd Uairy Association, sent the following cablegram to Mr Massey to-day : - Dairy factories blocked with cheese and butter.
