CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR RIVER EXCURSION.
All those who wish to spend a pleasant and enjoyable Christmas and New Year can do so by spending same visiting Pipiriki ard the Houseboat. A steamer will leave Wanganui on Christinas Saturday and New Year Saturday a; 7 a.m., returning to midday on Monday; or anyone visiting'the Houseboat can return to IWanganuji mid-day Wednesday. The return fare for this special week-end excursion to .Pipiriki is 20s. Also on Christmas Sunday and New Year Sunday, the "Mamrwai" will leave at 2.30 p.m. for an afternoon excursion, and on Boxing Day the "Manuwai" will leave at 9.30 a m. for all day excursion to Hipango Park.
