WELLINGTON, De^. 20. An atmospheric depression located to « the northward has bsen responsiblo jTor considerable rainfall in the northern districts. Unsettled conditions have also been experienced in Otago, but elsewhere fair, warm and hazy;'.weather ; has ruled. Easterly and northerly breezes have predominated. Present indications are for freshening easterly V winds northward of New Plymouth and 'Napier, and moderate to northerner elsewhere. Further unsettled weather, with rain, is probable in the northern and southernmost districts, and increasing clouds and haziness may he ex-pected-generally.
