The remains of MV Frank Stewart were followed to their last resting-place by a large- concourse- of people, the funeral being the largest ever: seen at Mangaweka. Friends from all parts of Rangitikei, as well --as Wellington and the King Country, <:ame to pay their last respects to one of the bestknown and most highly esteemed residents of tiie Main Trunk. An impressive service was conducted at St. Martin's Church by the Rev; Mr. Williams, i.i" Wanganui.
