JELLICOE APPOINTED FIRST SEA LORD.
BEATTY TO COMMAND GRAND FLEET.
LONDON, November 29 Official.—Admiral Jellicoe has been appointed First Sea Lord, and RearAdmiral Beatty commander of the Grand Fleet. ' LONDON, November 29. The Right Hon. A. J.; Balfour, in the House of Commons, in announcing the Admirals Jellicoe and Beatty changes, said that Admiral Jackson "had bee'i appointed president of the Naval College at Greenwich. He said he would announce other changes in the Admiralty and higher command later.
