A NELSON OFFICER KILLED

NELSON, July 22. Word has been received that Lieutenant Athol Hudson, a son of the late Dr. Hudson and Mrs Hudson, of Tapawera, has been killed1 in action. Lieutenant Hudson as an old boy of the Nelson College and Waitaki High School, and was selected in 1915 as the Rhodes Scholar from Victoria College.
