As the public seem to be under a misapprehension with l'egard to the Chemists' Early Closing, we, the undersigned Prescription Chemists vtho reside on the premises, wish it clearly understood that we have not combined with the others to opon au allnight dispensary. A recent amendment of the Shops and Offices Act compels us to close our business premises at 6 o'clock p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and is so drastic that no matter how oirgent, whether it is a case of life or death, it is Illegal for us to supply medicine. To our numerous patrons, in order to save disappointment, we would advise leaving or telephoning orders before 6 p.m., which will be obtainable in the ordinary way, and any left after ,6 p.m. will be attended to in compliance with the Act. ; In conclusion, we wishtothanlc tht public for past favours, and hope that, through no fault of our own, they will not be seriously inconvenienced. we still reside on . our Business premises. no connection with the chemists' combine.
