In the House of Oonifaons tHe Hon. H. H. Asquith promised facilities to discuss the Economic Conference it' generally desired. ;
Mr. Asquith said he wpuld make' a statement to-morrow regarding the conscientious objector. '
The Hon. H, J. Tennant said that of 34 Irish rebels who had been sentenced to dea,th, all had been-com-muted 'to servitude. ' '"'' -;:■-"•-
Mr. Asquith said he hoped the Dardanelles papers would, be available before the end of the session. . •
Mr. Eugene Wason drew attentisn to Italy's large wool purchasesl at the Sydney sales, and asked whether the, Government would make special repre-v sentatipns to Italy to see that nc%3 of the wool reached Gerr.-.any or Austria.
Lord Robert Cecil said the impo. trance of preventing wool reaching r>h& enemy had been frequently brought under the notice of the Italian Government, who had taken strict measures by prevent smuggling.
