CHANCE FOR YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN.

We have received from Messrs Hemingway and Robertson's Correspondence Schools, Auckland, a neatly got-up booklet entitled "The Call of the Empire." The booklet has been written as an appeal to young women, youths, and also men who, for various reasons, are unable to join the Expeditionary Forces. It lays down a course of duty for those people, and shows how everyone can, by the exercise of a little determination and systematic work, benefit themselves and at the same time render a, real and lasting serv|e to the Empire. The booklet gives details of Messrs Hemingway and Robertson's correspondence courses in commercial subjects, and particulars of a special fees reduction offer which closes in November. The booklet, "which may be obtained on written application to the Director of Messrs Hemingway and Robertson's Correspondence Schools, Union Buildings, Auckland, is well worth perusal, especially by those young people of both sexes ambitious to qualify themselves for responsible positions in business or commercial circles. Many of our financial and commercial houses are already feeling the strain caused by the departure of so many of the experienced members of their staffs to the war, and those willing to fill the gaps thus occasioned will find much useful information in Messrs. Hemingway and Robertson's little publication.
