STOCK SALES

Freeman It. Jackson and Co. Ltd., report! — .

At Turakina on the 3rd inst. we sold on account of Mr Glasgow his dairy <;pw.b. The attendance was good and fair prices were realised.

O.a Monday, the 9th inst., at Okoia, we conducted & mosti successful sale

dairy cows, etc., on account of Mr N. Higgio. We had ja good attendance vof buyers and the values realised for tho cows we ervery satisfactory. Sundries sold at ruling rates.

On Tuesday, the 19th,inst., at our supplementary cow and heifer sale at the Wayerley yards-we offered 120 head. Competition was keen for early calvers, but the backward sorts weie hard to quit. "However, we sold a fair proportion of the entry at ruling rates.

On Wednesday the 11th inst., at our. Wanganui 6*.ile- we submitted a. heavy yarding, namely. 1040 cattlo, 3300 sheep and 100 pigs. Wo had ah attendance and competition was keen, throughout, especially for. all classes of fats. Very few pens of'stock turned out unsold, practically everything being disposed of at prices in vendors' favour. Pigs in good demand. .

On Thursday, the 12 th.inst., at Mosatown we conducted a dairy sale for Mr. W. D. Anderson. We had a fair attendance of buyers, and bidding was free through. We report a successful sale.

On Friday, the 13th inst., at our Waverley sale we had a good entry of stock, and a large attendance of buyers. Bidding wasi spirited throughout for both cattlo and sheep.
