Received 12-5 a.m., August 16. PETROGRAD, August 15. Official.—The enemy attempted to «top our offensive near Jacobstadt, Dvmsk, and Wilkomarti. Fighting continues. We again and again repulsed four German attacks. On the western positions at Kovno an artillery duel Continues. There is no important change on the Narew-Bug front. There was a desperate action on Friday south-west of Crechanovec. There have been an artillery duel and skirmishing actions within- the approach to the defences of Isovo beoro'ievsk. . Fighting increased in otMl.uß.ev on Thursday riightf northward, of the Siedlce and. Lukow region.
