GERMANY'S NEW SUBMARINES.
THE HOBOKEN YARDS
Received 4 p..m,.August 15. AMSTERDAM, August 14. The " Telegraaf's" special correspondent visited the German submarine yards at Hoboken (near; Antwerp). Since March l&tli (?) hew submarines have been constructed. British airmen almost, entirely destroyed on^ on April 26th! Two have . "been. launched and are now in service. The remainder are rapidly approaching completion. Since the successful British attack every possible precaution, has been, taken against aerial bombs. The yard has been roofed with steel plating and cov-tn-ed with sand-bags. Only the hulls are constructed ia Hoboken, all the interior parts being made in Germany.. One submarine from Hobokeoi has already been lost. It -^as called the Kai«er Wijhelm IL, and carried three officers, one petty officer, and twelve rroi.'
