The U3 on Thursday morning attacked an Italian auxiliary cruisor patrolling in the Adriatic. Quick manoeuvres enabled the cruiser to escape two torpedoes, the cruiser ramming and damaging the submarine. Italian destroyers .with the French destroyer Bis--Bon were sent in pursuit. The Bkson on Friday discovered and bombarded and sank the submarine, taking the crew prisoner. •
