A eomnmniqne et.ites that the Gorman attack north-west of Souchez station -wnl? repulsed. The enemy, after exploding a mine, violently bombarded our positions eastward of the Lille rrJad, in the Neuville district, and they attempted to leave their trenches, but were driven back.
A fresh night attack on our position *t Linge completely failed, onr curtain of fire ir.flicting considerable losses.
