A RECORD LAUGHTER MAKER.

"DOUGH AND DYNAMITE,"

AT HIS MAJESTY'S TO-NIGHT

There was a packed house at His I Majesty's Theatre last evening, and it I vs safe to say that few people went home without sore sides, for a more uproariously ludicrous picture than Charles Chaplin presents in "Dough and Dynamite" it would be almost impossible to imagine. Charlie in an artist, and his clever buffooning would draw a smile from a Chinese idol. It is useless to attempt to describe his antics, the picture must be seen to be properly ap T predated, so it will siiffice to say that in this, his latest creation, he fairly excels himself. The " Animated War News" is excellent, and among the items secured by the camera man is the marchins; away to his doom of a spy caught red-handed in the firing line. Some very charming scenes of domestic lifo in Devon, the monuments of Egypt, among .the world's wonders, an exquisitely coloured picture of the gathering of cocoanuts in the Philippines, are all pleasing screenings, and materially hehj to widen one's horizon. There are a trio n dramatics, "Maria's Sacrifice" (Vitagraph), strikingly illustrates Italian characteristics. "ThejHop Smuggler" contains a story of Chinese and opium dealing; it is excitngly told in Reliance's vigorous style. " His Chorus Girl Wife" is" a well acted Edison drama, founded on a secret marriage problem. The programme will be repeated this evening. Box plan open at the "Bristol."
