The disturbance to the northward of the Dominion has shown increased energy to-day,, arid the low-pressure area to the southward is also still m evidence, with a steadily falling barometer everywhere. Overcast skies are reported generally, and rain in the northern districts and showers elsewhere. Foretast—Present indications «ar£ for strong northerly to south-easterly winds, tloudy and unsettled weather, with • rain, probable generally, and snow on the higher levels. 'A farther decrease m attmosphericxpressure is \now indicated.
