A select committee enquiring into the matter of short weight, reports that upon the whole the retail trade is honestly conducted. A -certain number of tradera use tea-wrappers of unnecessarily heavy \veight, greatly increasing the percentage of tare and diminishing the net. The committee recommends that tread be sold by weight only.
