CONFERENCE OF UNIONS.
(Per Press Association.) - WELLINGTON, July 7. A conference of Unions convened by tho Federation of Lp.bour for tiie purpose of further solidifying the forces of Labour and linking up with the recent-ly-formed Federation of La-hour in Australia, met this morning, 74 delegates being present. Mr. J. Rigg. of Wellington, was appointed chairman, Mr. 1). .!. Sullivan deputy chairman, and Mr. P. H. Hicke.y secretary. The Press were excluded, and a Press Committee set up to supply reports. Only formal business wr:s transacted thi:> morning. A resolution was passed allowing; the Labour M.P.'s to take part in "the deliberations of the conference.
