(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 20. At the conference of the Provincial Farmers' Union to-night, it was resolved that the Government should bo urged to watch carefuily the operations of the meat and other trusts in N.Z. Ono member stated that the Meat Trust was aT present established in Australia, and that thine wus good reason to believe tliSt it had ocm* t> Z. ''Bat there is no reason lo fear the Trust is operating merely in trade," he added. "In fact, we want them. So long as they do not take over control of unr freezing works, no harm will bs done.
