Tho Tramways Committee reported as follow*:
lie Lamp from Carnival Committee.— Wo reoommend the purchase for £21 15s. 3d.
Re Electric Lamps in Victoria Avcmie. —Tlte committee recommend that iive lamps bo removed from the cluster at tlie Post Office corner and erected in a fluster at the corner of the Avenue and Maria Plac?; also that the Tramway Department be paid tho 6um of £3 os per annum for each electric bunch. —■Adooted.
Limit. —That the speed limit of motor cat's and motor cycles be' fixed in every borough, town, district and county by the Police Department. Manufacture and sale of bricks.—That Councils be empowered to manufacture bricks and sell the same on such terms as they ; think ht. Re the "Wanganui Public ; library.—The committee has .consider- i ed the proposal submitted by .the trus- '. toes whereby it is prepared to hand over ' the institutiqn,to the Council, and- it is j of opinion that in the interest of the j borough it is advisable that the Council j should take over and administer the Public Library.—Adopted.
