GERALDINE COUNTY.

The Gorald>'ne Coantv now contains three road districts. A meeting of ratepayers cf Geraldine and Mount Peel road districts a few days, ago passed m resolution- in favour of farming the~o districts into a separate county and merging the Road Boards. To-day a meeting of ratepayers cf thf> Timiulw Road District resolved that they .havo no objection'to the steps proposed to lie taken by Gera!d;ne and Mount Peel. The latter hope to. secure, greater efficiency and economy under the county system.
