SCARCITY OF DOCTORS.

Unmarried and unsettled doctors appear to be scarce. The Timaru Hospital Board have been unable to hear of enc, and to-day decided to telegraph tho resident surgeon' lately resigned to return for a year. A proposal to erect a house for a married resident was fa^curablv received. Tho Honorary medical staff offered to carry on, but by the casting vote the Board decided.to telegraph. , Tho Board has under consideration the position of -dental Ward fpr outnntients.
