DEMNED
Received April 14, 30.15 p.m. LONDON T, April 14. The British Socialist Conference passed a resolution conde.pxning the hypocrisy of the liberal place-holders and place-hunters in attempting to exploit the Ulster crisis by raising the bogus cry of the army versus the people. The Conference drew the attention of the Government to the imprisoning of strikers for imploring soldiers not to shoot workers, while they allowed iSir Edward Carson to organise an armed l-evolt. The Conference appealed to the army, tq remember this when caller upon to intervene in a trade dispute ; ■ -■■ :
