FREEMAN R. JACKSON AND CO.'S STOCK REPORT.

At our Wanganui sale on Bth inst., we had a full yarding, namely 850 mixed cattle, 4900 sheep and 130 pigs. The attendance Avas goodl and bidding free throughout. A nice line of fat and forward bullocks on account of Mr A. E. Montgomerie were much admired and stud -after the auction with the exception of a small pen at £9 per head. Other classes of cattle sold at ruling rates. Sheep sold readily and Avith the exception of a pen of ewes \ve report a tota^ii 'clearayfoe.

At Waverley sale on 9th inst. we yarded 630 head of cattle and 1500 sheep. We had a good attendance of buyers. Some good lines of cattle yarded met a ready sale. Sheep sold at ruling prices. Pigs: Choppers £2 10s to £2 15s, heavy porkers 35s to £2, good porkers 27s 6d to 325, medium do. 23s to 265, stores 19s to 225, Aveaners 9s 6d to 10s, small do. 6s 6d.
