MEN'S P.S.A. BROTHERHOOD.

On account of the holiday season the attendance at the P.S.A. on Sunday

afternoonl last was not as large as

usual, but this did not lessen the enthusiasm. Owing to a sudden indisposition, Mr. W. Minnell, the advertised speaker, could not be present. Mr. R.

B. Horsley, on short notice, stepped into the breach, and his homely address on "The Influence of Christianity" was well received. Mr. T. L.. Spelling was at his best and his solo "Lead Kindly Light (Bohm) met with well deserved recognition from all present. Brother Wni. Pepper, J.P. presided over the meeting. The Organising Secretary, Brother R. D. Paterson, read communications he had received from the Secretary of the Bargeman's Brotherhood. King's Norton,

Birmingham, England, acknowledging receipt of letters received, and conveying hearty and fraternal greetings from the Bargemen, to the Council and members of the Wanganui Men's P.S.A. Brotherhood, which were heartily reciprocated and duly acknowledged in the true Brotherhood spirit. Next Sunday afternoon the Rev. Fred. W. Spencer is the speaker, and the subject, " Christ and the Nations "
