A very pretty AAedding was celebrat- J ed yesterday afternoon by Mr. T. H. ( Rix at the Church of Christ, Mathieson j St. The contracting parties .were Ma* ! John GoodAvin Ford, of Stratford, son ' of Mr J. H. Ford, late of Wanganui, j and Miss Elsie Dee, daughter ot the ! late Mr EdAvin Dee, of Nelson. The ' Church was prettily decollated for the occasion. The bride, Avho AA'as given aAvay by her mothei;, was daintily gown- ■. ed in cream. charmeuse 3 trimmed with silk lace and insertion. She Avor© the orthodox Avreath and veil and carried a lovely shoAver bouquet. Miss Mary Dee AAas bridesmaid and wore a pretty goAvn of cream crepe-de-chene and carried a shoAver bouquet. (Mr Leslie Holland acted as best man. The happy couple left by the afternoon mail for the North.
