AUCKLAND, April 13. Tiie conference of the Federated Catholic Clubs of New Zealand passed a resolution congratulating the Catholic people of Ireland on their subiiimo dignity in face of attacks on their faith; also congratulating their coreligionists in Ireland on their extraordinary restraint, ta resraint unparalled' in the history of Western Christendom. Archbishop Redwood was elected Pre-sident-general, and Mr-' J. L. JE&ycon president. St. Benedict's Club, Auckliad, won the inter-club shield for ihe year H54 fi-om the holders, Grey mouth.
