Seventy-one French professors, journalists, authors and artists who were born since the Franco-German war, have written a book entitled "Armed Peace" urging a Franco-German rapprochement. They suggest measures to help Alsace-Lorraine to secure local autonomy on a large basis within the German Empire. They recommend the listing of German seairities on the Paris Bourse. They urge France to promote German colonial expansion in return for compensation. They also initiate proposals to the Hague for the .limitation of armaments.
